Savon Drugs has been part of East Bernard for well over 20 years. 

In January 2006, Hank & Tammy Alexander purchased the business,  We enjoy being a part of the East Bernard community and are blessed to be able to serve here. 

     Hank is originally from Beaumont, Texas and he graduated from The University of Houston School of Pharmacy in December 1996 and soon after he went to work for an independent pharmacy.  After serving there for a short while he became a manager at a large retail pharmacy in hope that one day he could own a pharmacy.  In July of 2001 he came to work here at Savon Drugs with plans to purchase the business. 

      Tammy is originally from El Campo where she graduated in 1993 and went on to get her degree in Applied Microbiology from the University of Houston Downtown.  She met Hank at his first job out of pharmacy school where she was working as a pharmacy technician.  Tammy started working at Savon Drugs shortly after Hank and they purchased the business in 2006. 

     Hank and Tammy consider it a pleasure to serve here and love looking back on their lives and seeing God's hand and guidance througout it all.  They have lived in East Bernard, since October 2006 and have two girls, Emma and Lily.  Emma and Lily are already learning how to manage the business, you can find them here at the store on a regular basis. 

     Hank graduated from the University of Houston-College of Pharmacy in the Fall of 1996.  He began his pharmacy career working at an independent pharmacy and within 6 months moved to a new position managing a large retail pharmacy. After 4 years in retail, he came to work for Savon Drugs. In January 2006 Hank became the owner of Savon Drugs.   Hank enjoys the community pharmacy setting, you can find him behind the counter ready to help you.
